If the player correctly answers the questions, they will be rewarded with improvements for their Knowledge social skill. The player is given 5 social skills throughout the game, Courage, Diligence, Understanding, Expression, and Knowledge. Improving each of these social skills will allow the player to continue to build relationships with certain characters.
Knowledge is one that can be vastly improved while in the classroom. Player's cannot skip the classroom sections, so to benefit from their time here, selecting the correct answer is the right way to go.
