While we like the ample canopy and the carry strap, this heavier stroller is the largest when folded and the long length makes it hard to stow in smaller spaces.

Performance Comparison The G-Luxe doesn't fold very small and the longer profile can make it hard to store on public transportation or in smaller trunks.
The G-Luxe has a carry strap but this doesn't do much to make the weight and size more manageable. The G-Luxe has color-coded brakes that are foot friendly. Access to the G-Luxe storage bin is limited from the top back with no access once you fold the seat down.
The canopy is sharper and better looking than the previous G-Luxe canopy. The G-Luxe buckle is one of the easiest to use with harness adjustments that are a breeze. While the front wheels swivel, they can be locked into place so they only roll in one direction, making navigating bumpy conditions a little easier. All of our testers agreed that moving between the recline positions is very simple, and can be done one-handed with a squeeze. The leg rest also adjusts with a squeeze on both of its sides, and it can be folded straight down or made level with the seat.
The full recline combined with a fully upright leg rest makes for a great napping surface. One of the best features of the G-Luxe is its removable seat pad. Not only can you easily lift the whole seat pad off the stroller in under a minute and throw it directly in a washing machine , but the stroller is still useable if slightly less cushy without it.
Kids famously need a lot of stuff, and most strollers tend to double as shopping carts, so good storage capacity is a big plus in a stroller. We were able to slide a full diaper bag into the basket without too much shoving. The G-Luxe also has a removable cup holder that is easy to attach and feels secure, which makes fuelling those extra-long stroller-nap excursions a little easier. Although it isn't huge, it has that signature UPPAbaby fold down silver sun protection visor which gives much better coverage and protects from harmful rays.
The seat back is super sturdy and feels great quality. The one hand clasp lever design of the recline means it is easy to move the seat position when baby is in the stroller without jiggling them about too much or waking them.
Although the recline is great, the seat doesn't recline fully, only to an angle of approximately 40 degrees, hence why the G-Luxe is suitable from 3 months old. It does however recline more than enough for baby to have a comfortable snooze. The fold is operated by pulling the two rings levers on either handlebar, putting your foot on the footplate to the right of the stroller frame and folding it forwards. There is a lock that automatically clicks into place to keep the package neat and tidy and it can also free stand on a clever built in stand.
The carry strap means you can sling it over your shoulder to transport really easily leaving hands free for baby. It's one of my favorite things about it. It reclines and has a really nice sunshade. We use it more than our full-size stroller because it's so portable and easy to maneuver. It's a great, sturdy umbrella stroller that still offers good comfort for your baby, it has different seat tilting options, great coverage with canopy, underneath storage basket, and it folds up super compact and light.
We are now using it with our second and we are so happy with this purchase all over again. It's great for everyday use barely taking up any trunk space or for travel. Fussy kids will find the seat comfortable and parents will appreciate how easy the stroller is to push, fold and clean.
