How do shia pray salat

Aameena Rabba Al-'Alameen. However, if the eyes do not see anything, but the ears can hear, Wudhu does not become void. Twelve things make prayers void, and they are called mubtilat. However, there is no doubt about it being haraam, if it is done believing that it is ordained by Shariah. This rule, when applied to one praying individually based on Ihtiyat, but if someone utters it believing that it has been ordained by Shariah, it is haraam.

Or if someone asked a person who is praying, as to which is the second letter of Arabic alphabet, and he said simply "Ba". But if the utter meaningless, then, if it constitutes of two or more letters, his prayers will be void, based on precaution. And if the laugh is uncontrollable, or involuntary, if what prompted it in the first place was intentional, or for that matter, inadvertent, the prayers will be void.

But if one laughs loudly unintentionally, or if he purposely laughs without emitting any voice, there is no harm. But if he weeps silently or loudly due to fear of Allah, or the Hereafter, there is no harm in it. In fact, it is among the best acts.

Similarly, if he does an extra Rukn forgetfully, like adding a Ruku or two Sajdah in one Rak' at, his prayer, as an obligatory precaution, will be void.

And if one omits purposely acts which are not Rukn, or makes an addition, prayer will be void. But if one forgetfully adds one more Takbiratul Ihram, prayer will not be void. Open navigation menu. Close suggestions Search Search.

Mafateh Jinan with Urdu Translation complete pg. Jump to Page. Search inside document. Pickthall : Be guardians of your prayers, and of the midmost prayer, and stand up with devotion to Allah.

Yusuf Ali : Guard strictly your habit of prayers, especially the Middle Prayer; and stand before Allah in a devout frame of mind. Yusuf Ali : And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember their Lord :.

May Allah swt forgive me. All the errors are mine and the devil alone. All that is correct belongs to Allah swt, Allah swt is perfect. If on how it is performed that is where the Sunnah of rasulullah and ahadith comes in. Then in sha Allah you can decide whether the Quran tells all steps of salat.

We find that there are only 3 names of Salats in the Quran, i. This means that there has to be only 3 Salats. This is because the Quran states that it is not missing anything , and so, if there is 3 NAMES of Salats mentioned, then logically, there has to be 3 Salats. Moreover, some Jews today still do 3 daily prayer services in most days. Also, Shia Muslims still combine salat into 3 times per day.

Why do you believe that Quran you are holding is the same Quran which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him? The Quran is given to us by the same people who gave us hadith as well.

So if you dont believe in hadiths how can you believe in Quran which was given to us by the very same people? Wow, Quran is the authority. If an hadees is contridicting from what Quran is saying, it is Quran that we follow. Quran is sent by Allah, and without any changes is written and forwarded for decades after decades.

While hadeeses are written by humans only and at one point in Quran it is said by Allah s. Shias never say ameen. You wont find ameen in Quran so shias purely read quran doesnt add hebrew word. The Shia do not say ameen never had! Where do you people get these lies that we offer only 3 salat. You say that you follow the example of The Prophet s. They sure are. And you say our Prophet s.

It just says ground. I do believe and know that the founders of Shiaism have more knowledge than I do, of course, but however, excuse me, some of your rulings sound and seem very illogical.

The Ahadith are not just something people come up to you and tell you. They are brought to our day by reliable scholars. Forgetting his prayers, peeing while standing, Moses giving the angel of death a black eye, so on and so forth. The bigoted information that some of you have been fed about Shias is exactly that, ignorance filled and bigoted. They pray with hands open, as do Malakis.

Everyone here has become an expert because they heard, they saw, they think and assume. They reject others. We believe in a lot of Hadith from Sunni books. We just reject from specific people.

Example abu hurrara father of cats. Sorry Sir but the explanation for sahi means the correct hadeese is in the book it is referring to hadeese only. Secondly Shia only consider those hadeese to be correct which are narrated by Hazrat Ali r. As for the combining of prayers yes the Prophet sas did join prayers and prayed them together telling the people that it can be done to make it easy for people but he sas never said to join them every day and pray 3 times only like the Shia do.

The daily prayers are 5 times a day not 3 times a day. Shias are misguided in this respect and not following one of the 5th pillars of Islam correctly which is salah. Hazrat Ali r. Just because Hazrat Ali r.

The prophet sas just because you are relations will not help you in the akhira but your aamal will. Why do shias hit themselfs with sorts of knifes hanging on chains when Hazrat hussain was killed while he was fighting against the enemies. Let me see if I can locate them for you. I An old barren woman? It was because of my ignorance and youthfulness that the Messenger of God died while he was in my lap. Bidayah wa al Nihayah, Volume 5, page ——————————————————————————————————————— 3rd: Holy prophet asked the women of the area if they could perform matam for his uncle hamza as he had no one to weep over his body.

S is imam ALI A. Can you please tell me where is it written in Holy Quran that matam is haram? I am a shia muslim and couldnot find anything written in the Quran like this. I agree with you. I am a shia muslim. Can you please tell me where is it written in the Quran that beating yourself is Haram?

I couldnot find it. If it was haram , how the great prophet Yakoob was doing that and God send no verse to stop him from doing such a thing? Is it mentioned to. Shia hit on their chest not on your chest why you are irritating,,,, why you nervous,?

Why you burnings? It is right say that the raise hand one chest in sorrow of imam Hussain a. I not read your full article. You are right bro. Very valid question to Rafidhis. Why beating self and taking out blood.

No sense at all. May Almighty give them hidaya…. Just to clear things up: Shias are required to place their forehead onto a natural, not manmade surface during prayer i. They use clay tablets, or wooden planks when praying indoors because those surfaces are considered natural and things like carpets or floor tiles are considered unnatural and manmade, so they are just compensating for the synthetic surfaces on the floor. I always believe that there is no such thing as man-made in true essence.

All the things, the elements on earth that we combine chemically or through mixture are all created by Allah swt. Sahih AlBUkhari volume 1 pg. Shias do not pray to the turba, the pray on it. I guess because of the way I pray, I am a Sunni. However, Brother Muhammad Wahab…your post is very harmful. If you are a true muslim, you would not behave in such a disrespectful way to anyone, especially to other brothers who are also muslim.

Yes, their rituals do matter. For example, they pray on clay because they believe the ground could possibly be dirty. They are just doing things differently…Allah is to decide if he will accept their prayer. Do you agree? Now, back to your post. You are creating a divide which Shaytan wants and prefers…and you are falling for it.

Remember this: A man cannot enter Jannah until he believes. A man does not believe until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself. Your thoughts are really great well written brother people like wahab do not understand what they are doing to their community.

The shias are 2 face hypocrites, first of all they reject the Hadiths, then they quote from Sahih Albukhari or any other hadeeth book to support their lies and fabrications.

How pathetic are you decadent cult, many of the verses from the Quran have been misquoted and distorted by this Satan. Your have added this into this verse in your translation and to the book of Allah SWT, why you son of dog shias?

Our belief about tabarra is that we should loathe the four idols, i. It has been narrated in Taqrib al Muarif from the freed slave of Ali bin Hussain i. Imam said : Both of them are unbelievers, and whoever loves them is also unbeliever. Similarly … It has been narrated from Abu Hamzah that he asked the Imam about Abu Bakr and Umar, upon which he said : They are unbelievers, and whoever respects them is also unbeliever.

Than Majlisi says And regarding this, there are lots of ahadith, and many of them have been mentioned in Bihar al anwar. Whoever believes that Uthman was killed innocently, his sins on the day of judgement will be more than those who worshipped the calf. Hayat ul Quloob, Vol. Haqqul Yaqin, p.

But the simple thing is that anyone who want to know more, he should read his books in the original language, not in the translations, because the Shiite translators often omit such things from the translations. Tom Miller, as a Muslim, you should be ashamed of yourself. I am a Sunni and find many of the things Shias do wrong. Let alone you call people who classify themselves as believers of being hypocrites and this and that.

The punishment for accusing people of such terrible things is such a huge sin. And there are Shias who actually believe in Ahadith, you can look into Shia forums if you want.

If I were you, I would make a sincere Tawba and never say such things again out loud. Stick to your prayers and believes if you have any and do not spread hate. There is enough hate in this world, because of people like you. Assalammualaikum, I am sunni Muslim and I have lots of Shia friends.

Stay united and peaceful. If the man who was called a kaafir is actually one, then he would be a kaafir; otherwise whatever the caller said would return upon him. Stakfurrulah atheem brother what has caused you to say this. It is not polite. Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakat. Who are you to condemn any of them. During the era of Ali [r. Ali [r. My point is if Ali loved Omar r.

All muslim bro. So there is nothing like shia or sunni in islam, there is one thing i,e muslim , so we should prefer to cal ourselves muslim. Thank You very much brother for teaching me something new. I will now try to just do what I have to do and stop arguing. Sometimes little advise can lead you to big things. According to Allama Muttaqi al- Hindi, more than twenty narrations - all narrated by the third caliph - are about his new manner of performing wudhu.

These traditions indicate his responsibility for establishing the new method of washing, rather than wiping. Now, some Muslims might argue that the washing of the feet leads to better cleanliness and hygiene than merely wiping the feet. However, Allah SwT is more aware of the advantages and disadvantages of washing versus wiping.

But I saw the Messenger of Allah S wiping the top of his feet. It is irrational, and incredible, that the same Ahlul Sunnah scholars who say you must wash your feet, and not wipe your bare feet, also say that it is permissible to do wudhu by wiping wet hands over your socks or even over your shoes.

How does this make sense? How is this consistent or logical? The Shias allow for the combination of the 5 daily prayers salah into three times - whereas the majority of Ahlul Sunnah scholars say that this is only permissible during journeys or in state of danger or war. The combining of the prayer is based on the sunnah of the Holy Prophet S , as narrated in leading Sunni books of hadith.

A person from Banu Tamim came there. He neither slackened nor turned away, but continued crying : Prayer, prayer. Ibn Abbas said: May you be deprived of your mother, do you teach me Sunnah? He said: So that his ummah should not be put to unnecessary hardship.

How many prayer times are mentioned in this verse? The first point to remember is that this line of the adhan is not wajib. It is not considered to be a compulsory part of the adhan, iqamah or kalima and most Shia scholars state that it should not be recited with the niyyat intention of it being wajib.

Most of them believe that it is something which is only mustahab, recommended. However, the vast majority of scholars view the proclamation as a non-essential, non-mandatory, non-wajib, yet recommended part of the adhan. The logic is, among other things, that we have many narrations instructing us to proclaim the divine appointment of Imam Ali as every time we proclaim the oneness of God and the prophethood of the Messenger. Did this line appear during the lifetime of the Prophet?

That of course is the crucial, historical question, and it has been narrated that it did. Shias are attacked for supposedly adding a man-made line to the adhan and iqamah, relating to Ali ibn Abu Talib as.

Yet the Ahlul Sunnah ulema gloss over the fact that Umar ibn Khattab confessed to adding his own line, his own innovation to the adhan and iqamah. Does this make any sense? Is it not sad and depressing that the Muslims cannot even agree whether the Prophet crossed his arms or not in prayers? The Holy Prophet S prayed at least 40, compulsory wajib prayers in front of his sahabah over the 22 years of his prophethood, yet Muslims cannot agree what he did with his hands while he was praying.

It is important to note that the issue of arms is is not just a Shia-Sunni conflict; it is an intra-Ahlul Sunnah conflict too. I saw him raising both his hands up to the level of the shoulders on saying the Takbir; and on bowing he placed his hands on both knees and bent his back straight, then he stood up straight from bowing till all the vertebrate took their normal positions.

But none of them did so! Drop, not cross, his hands! Once, Said saw a man placing one hand over the other, so he went to him, separated his hands, and then returned to me. Prostrating on the earth turbah or nature made material does not in any way imply worshipping the earth or stone which one is prostrating upon.

You are prostrating to Allah SwT and Him alone but remember: the prostration itself is a gesture of humiliation and insignificance before the Creator and if it is done on the dirt, on earth, then it will have more of an effect than prostrating on a man-made carpet. This is the philosophy behind the turbah, the sajdagaar. It is important to note that as with the uncrossing of the arms during the daily prayers, the use of a turbah is a practice associated with salah which has a firm foundation in the tradition, in the sunnah, of the Holy Prophet S.

So how did the Prophet prostrate? There are numerous such ahadith in Sahih Bukhari, the pre-eminent book of traditions for the Ahlul Sunnah.

It is not considered compulsory or wajib to pray only on the soil of Karbala but Shia Muslims prefer to use such turbahs because the soil of Karbala is the holiest of all soils. It is the soil that the Holy Prophet S held in his hand as he wept and prophesied the death of his youngest grandson. It is the soil under which the third holy Imam Husayn as is buried; it is the soil that represents the very principles of Islam. So what better soil to worship on and prostrate on than the soil of Karbala?

During the days of the Holy Prophet S , the daily prayers were ended with the recitation of takbeer, and not with the turning of head from side to side. In Shia tradition, the imam of the prayers recites the salam in tashhahud and then loudly recites takbeer thrice and the congregation understands that the salah has finished.

He then narrated the tradition of tashahhud.
